Silurus saves information on what animals the user have met, to display the right content the next time the user open the app. Appart from this no other data is saved.

Silurus uses the camera feed of the rear facing camera to display AR content. On devices with TrueDepth API compatibility, Silurus uses the front facing camera to occlude AR content in the selfie mode. The user has an option to take a picture with an animal, and then share this via an app of their choice. Data is not saved from either rear or front facing camera.

Silurus uses bluetooth access to determine if the user have headphones connected, to play correct sounds. This data is not saved.

Silurus uses location services to determine which experience to display to the user. The user can experience one experience in the museum, and one outside the museum. This feature is disabled during Corona due to the museum being closed. This data is not saved.
